Mikko shares some of the problems on the sails so far, but he talks strong about a brighter future: "We'll soon see Sailfish OS devices all around the world", "Sailfish is faster than Ubuntu"

First Demo video of Jolla Tablet

Looking good - a teaser video by Jolla for next week's MWC with an early version of Sailfish OS 2

"As the device is an early prototype, and the contents in the image used are intended for demonstrating the hardware capabilities and not the upcoming user interface, please keep in mind that what you may see on the tablet screen or even the device itself are not necessarily final."

Nokia N9 - Ubiboot (MeeGo, Android, Sailfish OS)

Predecessor of Sailfish OS, Meego Harmattan is the operating system of Nokia N9. With some (reasonable amount of) work it's possible to install many other OS's to the same phone.

The 10min video below shows three operating systems installed on N9. Sailfish OS boots at 7min 30sec. This triple boot option is enabled through the use of Ubiboot, software which is run on the phone's bootloader before starting the operating system itself.

SailfishOS Ported to Nexus 4

One of the most touching videos I've seen as a fan. SailfishOS is an operating system developed by Jolla. It's spreading to other smartphone models by experienced users, latest beeing Nexus 4. (Earlier seen on Nokia N9 & Nexus 7).

Great video of installing and starting the new operating system by sledges (Youtube link)

The story of Sailfish is just in the beginning - I wonder what will be the next conquer?
