Finally here, Sailfish OS Vaarainjärvi update for Jolla phone. We're looking forward especially for some promised fixes in the memory handling - let's see how's the multitasking experience now.

"Existing update10 users, if you have enabled alphanumeric lock code in settings, consider switching it back to numeric, otherwise after accepting the hotfix you will have to stay with alphanumeric mode until Update 11."

[News] Jolla Tablet campaign in short

Campaign time is up, let's wrap it

December 10, 2014: Jolla, start up company from Finland, has just reached the end of 3 week funding project for the world's first crowdsourced tablet.

This new Linux tablet, running not yet finalized Sailfish OS 2.0, was introduced at Slush 2014 conference in Finland on November 19th. Jolla called it "PeoplePowered" Jolla Tablet.

Jolla gathered $1.8 million with a wise campaign strategy, and yes, a nice looking product as well, reaching 11th position on the list of all time The Most Funded Campaigns on Indiegogo

- Upgrade: support for 128Gb SD cards (reached)
- Upgrade: Split Screen (reached)
- Upgrade: HSDPA/3.5G mobile internet (hours to go... unlike)
- Offer: Jolla phone for 227€

A year has passed, and we all know that Jolla has set Open Sourcing of Sailfish OS as their goal already before that time. Let's check where Jolla stands with OSS after a year:

Next Sailfish OS update, November - DELAYED

System update for Jolla phone, first info of update 10. What to expect?

Jolla is planning to release Sailfish OS update 10 during November, bringing us for example a long waited answer for accidental phone calls. Proximity sensor must be revealed before the phone responses to touch - and if it's not working for some reason, quickly triple pressing the power button is a new workaround. What's more:
