You are saying that Wireless uses less energy than 2G? In N900 it was real when specifically using internet, but not in standby with just some IM software connected.
ReplyDeleteI am, and It's also very slow to sync over 2G (keeps processes up longer > more consuption via that too). I suppose 2G would be better in very few user cases (only few contacts/events/IM to sync)
DeleteI only use Mitakuuluu and Telegram when I am not near a computer (most of the day I am). I don't sync mail because I get a lot (and it will be disturbing) and I check it several times a day on computers. I don't sync any social network. Facebook and Twitter infoxicates me and I use G+ on computers.
DeleteCalarification: Mitakuuluu always, Telegram only when away computers.
