  1. You write "The 1st wave, currently in shipping, is for people who already have an invitation to finalize their order in the Jolla Pre-Order Shop". This is probably true, but people may interpret it the other way round: that people who already have an invitation to finalize their order can expect their tablets to be shipped now in the first wave. This doesn't seem to be true according to various reports: The 1st wave of shipments is probably even smaller than the group of people who already received those invitations.

    1. I added that remark to "Our guess (speculation)" for that very same reason. So yes, I'm guessing it's true, but really hoping we'll get some more accurate information soon.

    1. That is now outdated information, unfortunately missing an update date (around September 22). Later posts on Jolla Blog have announced a postpone. The shop page should be updated to mention December. (ping: Jolla Sailors)

  4. I too am waiting waiting waiting for a tablet that now, when/if it finally arrives will be so far out of date hardware wise that it will be a total waste of money. The thing that burns me is that there is NOTHING from the company, and no way to contact them to get a sensible answer. So much for "togetherness"

    1. I might have something to share in couple of weeks... Sorry for the experience, we must go on demanding more open communications.

Currently known: Jolla will have a board meeting after Christmas, deciding wether to cancel the campaign and issue refunding, or to go on with the tablets including further delays. The decision will be mostly based on its further affect on the company.

Speculation: After the feedback I've seen within the community, I have a somewhat strong feeling that Jolla will offer both these options, but both might come with a huge delay.

    2. Dear Simo and all,

Happy ongoing new year 2016. Thank you for the update on the tablet delivery.

Is it really so, that everyone having ordered tablet just on the 21st Nov, we are totally out of the delivery? Blaah. (Updated later to 64 Gb version).

    3. Thanks, to You too whoever you are :)

Unfortunately I must guess so... The size of the previous "small batch" was around 300 tablets, now Jolla used that same expression to describe the next additional batch, so it'll most certainly not cover thousands of tablets. But they sure could have been more accurate on informing about the amounts... We can't be sure if even the first day contributors will be covered by the information shared so far.

  5. Any news on the next shipment of "information" (the very little Jolla gives us each time) The communication with this company is a f@#$ing joke.

    1. Some invitations should be sent during January, update is on hold for an unknown reason. that's about the latest I know, nothing much to do but wait once again. Maybe they'll manage to close the whole case somehow in the next update.
